Finance Committee

The state eboard decided to establish a permanent finance committee.

The goals of the finance committee would be to:

1. work with the accountants and the bookkeeper to develop proposals for budgets and projections for the statewide union, and accounting methods and guidelines for both the state and the locals;
2. to ensure that such guidelines and accounting methods are in accordance with tax laws, and Hudson requirements;
3. and to make budget projections and plans for the coming year.

The Jackie Bess and Veronica Chavez are Co-Chairs of this committee.

If you are interested in participating (I imagine that much will happen on email, but it would be useful if you can read Excel attachments), let one of the Co-Chairs know.
