*All officers shall be a member of the bargaining unit and a member of CUE. The northern vice-president shall be employed at one of the following locations: Berkeley, Davis, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, LBL, or Office of the President/Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources (DANR) (if located in the north). The southern vice-president shall be employed at Irvine, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, Santa Barbara, Office of the President/DANR (if located in the south). To run for statewide office, the member must be in good standing in a local and be employed in the unit.
**In the future, elections for this position -Election Appeal Panelist- will occur at the same time we elect our campus representatives to the statewide Executive Board and the term of office will be for two years. This additional special election will be to choose campus representative to the Election Appeal Panel for the remainder of the current -- or soon to be commenced -- term of campus representatives to the statewide Executive Board as, due to an oversight, we did not accomplish this earlier.
Irvine, Los Angeles, Riverside, Santa Barbara, and San Diego will or are organizing their elections to this position at the campus level (which is how all of CUE will do this next time).
This statewide Election Committee will oversee the elections for Election Appeal Panelist for the following campuses: Berkeley/UCOP, Davis, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, San Francisco, Santa Cruz. CUE members at these campuses can nominate themselves or other members at their campus by sending to us at the addresses on the front of this page.
*** If you do not receive a ballot by July 19 (or are unable to find one previously received), e-mail a request for a duplicate ballot to jlbaumann82@hotmail.com or leave a message, requesting a duplicate ballot, with your name, campus and home address at (510) 845-3447.
