- Campaign Strategy Committee
- Plans for concerted action, membership participation, etc.

- Election Committee
- Takes care of all aspects of statewide elections.
The committee is chosen from among member volunteers and the committee chooses its Chair.
- Finance Committee
- Sets CUE's budgetary priorities, projects CUE's financial future, etc.

- Grievance Committee
- Meets to evaluate grievance cases for consideration to move to arbitration,
provides grievance support to locals in the form of training and guidance, etc.

- Legislative Committee
- Coordinates visits to legislators, keeps track of legislative issues and timetables, recommends action related to legislature, etc.

- Literature Committee
- Recommends, drafts, and edits literature pieces for the union, etc.

- Reclass Committee
- Meets to discuss proposed reclassifications on local campuses, compares job descriptions for clerical classifications, lends support to locals in making decisions regarding reclassifications out of the bargaining unit, etc.
