Reopening Nominations for State Office

July 24, 2006

Dear CUE Member,

The Statewide Election Committee has voted to reopen Nominations for State Office. We would like to have an adequate slate of candidates in order to give you, the members, a real choice. Nominations will reopen Tuesday, July 25 at 8 A.M. and run until Saturday July 29, at 12 A.M (midnight). We especially encourage nominations for Northern Vice President which currently has no candidate.

All nominations must be sent via e-mail to: cue-elections@sbcglobal.net. Please note - we will NOT accept nominations or acceptances of nominations after 12 A.M. For nominations made at or near the deadline, we will contact those nominees during the weekend. Please try to make new nominations early in the week to ensure that we will be able to contact the nominee prior to the weekend. DO check the clock on your computer to ensure that the time is correct. There will be NO exceptions to this final deadline.
