Members of the California Legislature have proposed a 1% reduction in the
Governor's Compact with UC. This could reduce our promised 4% raise, which is
set to be implemented in October 2007, to 3%. CUE urges you to email,
telephone and/or fax Don Perata, Senate President Pro Tem, today and ask him to
prevent a raid on our raise.
