CUE CONTRACT RATIFIED; INCREASES ON THE WAY

Dear CUE Members and Jurisdiction:

We are happy to announce that CUE members have overwhelmingly voted to accept our tentatively agreed upon contract with 92% of the votes in favor of ratifying the successor contract. With this news, the formal notice to UC has occurred and all terms and conditions take effect.

We know that foremost in everyone's minds are the salary increases and retroactive wage increases. The University of California (UC) has 120 days from the date of ratification to issue the pay-out of our retroactive pay. It is possible that UC will implement the salary increases prior to issuing the retroactive increases and the $180.00 bonus payment. The exact timing of the pay-out will be determined by each campus or lab.

We will keep you informed of the status of the pay-out schedules and communicate any information to you as we receive it. Everyone shall receive a printed copy of the new CUE contract. Our sincere thanks to all of you for your patience and participation.
