Dear CUE - Davis Local Members,

Enclosed are the report of the Local's activities for 2001, an income and expenditure report for January through November 2001, and a budget for 2002. We hope this information will be helpful to you in assessing the effectiveness and responsibilities involved with your union. Each of you is appreciated and valued by CUE and your local activists. We want to provide you with timely, accurate information and to answer any questions you might have about this report, your rights, and other activities of CUE.

As always, we need more volunteers, stewards, and activists. As you read the report, think of areas where you might want to become involved. We have many jobs that need more attention and time. If each of you recruited one new member, we would have much more power at the bargaining table!

All of the activists at Davis wish to thank you for your support and continued membership. Your support and positive comments are the fuel that keeps us moving forward to make Davis a model union local.
