Staff Activity Report Codes

CUE staff must use the following codes when reporting time on their timesheets.

Chargeable Activities

  1. Contract negotiations
  2. Contract administration - grievance adjustment and arbitration
  3. Unit membership services and other representational activities
  4. Internal union governance and administration
  5. Lobbying activities that are directly representational
  6. Legal support activities regarding representational matters

Non-chargeable Activities

  1. Political activities - partisan or non-partisan
  2. Solidarity activities and donations to outside organizations
  3. Organizing activities - primarily or exclusively aimed at inducing new members to join the union
  4. Meetings, trainings, and events regarding non-representational matters
  5. Legal-support activities re nonrepresentational matters
Time Paid But Not Worked

     0. Holidays, Sick days, vacation, jury duty, or other leaves of absence
