- Strike Benefit Funds are available to all CUE members who spend at least 4 hours per day on the picket line during the strike. CUE-represented employees can fill out membership applications on the picket line and join at the same time application is made for strike benefits. If your UC appointment is 50% or more, you qualify for a $60 stipend. If your UC appointment is 49% or less, you qualify for a $30 stipend. Members receiving vacation or sick pay during the strike do not qualify for hardship funds.
- Come join CUE on the picket lines. If you are not sure where to go, please show up at Oxford and Center (unless you work at UCOP) and, if need be, you will be sent to additional picket locations. Picket times and locations.
Statewide support from other campuses:
- UCLA is having a rally in support of Berkeley on August 27, 12:00 pm at the corner of Westwood and Le Conte.
- Riverside is planning solidarity rallies all 3 days of the Berkeley strike. And, we're getting a strike committee together for our own campus.
- UCSB Events all three days
- UCSC is having a rallies on all three days (8/26-28/02) at 12:00-1:00 outside of the Chancellors office at McHenry Library.
- 94% of voters voted to authorize a clerical strike at UCSF. SF CUE Strike Vote Results and Solidarity with the Berkeley CUE Strike
