CUE LOCAL #3 BERKELEY/UCOP ELECTION TIMELINE

The Coalition of University Employees Local #3 announces that elections for the following positions will be held:

• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Chief Steward
• six At-Large executive board members (five elected by entire membership; 1 elected by Local 3 members employed by UCOP)
• Trustee (a 3-year term, 2007-2010)
• Pension Bargainer alternate (from present to end of current pension bargaining)

Election Timeline

Elections will proceed according to the following schedule:

Date	Activity
22 March	Nominations open (noon - 1:00pm) General Membership Meeting in Room 303 Doe Library
19 April	Nominations close (5:00pm) General Membership Meeting in Room 303 Doe Library (noon - 1:00pm)
23 April	Candidate statements due
25 April	Statements circulated among candidates
30 April	Candidate responses to statements due (10:00pm)
8 May	Ballots mailed out, including candidate statements and responses. CUE membership required by this date to qualify as voter.
23 May	Last day for ballots to be received
25 May	Ballots counted (at 5:30pm in the CUE office, 2161 Allston Way).
28 May	Results announced
